The Symphony
Symphony - An instrumental passage in a vocal or choral composition. So, why did I use this word? Because the firefly has both measure, meter, intensity and light for its performance and expression, instead of conventional instruments. When I pass a farmer's field, one type of firefly would be there, lighting up the field, but where I live, there are many different types of fireflies, just like there are different instruments, all in the cadence and timing of their own design. So, the words Measure, (Cadence and Timing) Meter, Repetition, Intensity, and Mood are all there. Each of these words express a small part of God's Creation in and through the firefly. As I continue to write, I hope to demonstrate that each type plays an important part of the performance. In addition, their performance is done in their own band shell.
